Maria brink......................Maria Brink was born on December 18 1977 into a troubled family in New York. Brink was just a little girl when her father left the family. At age 14 Brink got pregnant and had to leave high school. Brink moved into an apartment after having Davion and then started work at the laundry. In 1995 Brink became a member of her first group Pulse which was based at Albany New York. The group mostly played local gigs for Coal Chamber, Sevendust and various bands. The band split later. When she turned 25, she moved away from California in the state of California to Los Angeles looking for her breakthrough. Brink appeared at coffee shops, bars and even in shops as she sought an appropriate group. Then, two years later, she met band member Chris Howorth at an audition. Howorth was hesitant to let her audition due to the fact that she was female. He soon changed his mind and apologized for it after hearing her voice. Together with drummer Jeff Fabb they formed the group they dubbed Dying Stars. After that, guitarist Blake Bunzel joined the band together with bassist Josh Newell. After two shows the group changed its title in to In This Moment.
